Transforming Missional Entrepreneurship

We help Adventist businesses & ministries thrive.

About Us

Hyve International

The vision of seeing faith-based entrepreneurship changing the world can be traced back 144 years, when author & co-founder Ellen White first introduced the idea of social ventures, solving the world’s most pressing problems and combining mission and business in a sustainable way. She called it the “beehive”.

Ever since then, this idea was carried forward by faith-based entrepreneurs such as John Andrews, Uriah Smith, Edward Sutherland, and many more.

Today, successful entrepreneurs, startup founders, investors and innovators are coming together to take this idea to the next level. Introducing: Hyve.

Transform your organization into a self-supporting, soul winning agency.

SUPPORTING MISSIONAL ENTREPRENEURSHIP

Our Sponsors

In November 2020, two General Conference departments – Global Mission and Adventist Review – have become sponsors of Hyve.

Global Mission’s task is to establish new Adventist work among people groups of little or no Adventist presence among them. In some regions of this world, church planting is prohibited by law; it is impossible to evangelize in a “traditional way”. Global Mission and Hyve are seeking to use entrepreneurial projects to bring the Gospel to all parts of the globe.

In print for more than 150 years, the Adventist Review is the flagship journal of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. Founded by James and Ellen White in 1849, the magazine is the one of the oldest religious publications in North America. With Bill Knott as its executive editor, AR is encouraging innovative entrepreneurs to share their ideas with Hyve’s investors, church leaders and lay members.
